3^rd Annual ICMIC Retreat (Joint ICMIC/SAIRP Retreat)

will be held on July 14, 2006 in the Tilghman Auditorium and the Turner Concourse at the Johns Hopkins Medicine Campus in East Baltimore. Our annual retreat provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of cutting-edge reseach in our ICMIC program and to foster multidisciplinary interaction between the members of our ICMIC and SAIRP.

The P50 ICMIC Program meetings are held weekly on Wednesdays from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The purpose of these meetings is to provide a forum for discussion and interaction, as well as to describe progress in the various projects of our JHU ICMIC Program. The first forty minutes of the meeting will focus on a scientific presentation, and the remaining fifteen to twenty minutes will be for discussion to include any issues for the attention of the ICMIC Oversight Committee. Light refreshments will be served.

Additionally, we invite an outside speaker for our monthly JHU ICMIC (Pizza) Seminar Series on the 2^nd Wednesday of every month at the usual time of 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm with pizza served from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Seminars of invited speakers are advertised on the notice boards at Johns Hopkins, in the Johns Hopkins Science Calendar or at this site.

The interdepartmental, interdisciplinary in vivo cellular and molecular imaging seminar series is focused on the application of imaging to biological systems with a strong emphasis on cancer. We wish to foster an informal, relaxed environment to encourage a lively scientific discourse during the seminars. This is dependent not only on the speakers but also on the willingness of the audience to be involved, so please join us.

Our 2^nd Annual ICMIC Retreat (Joint ICMIC/SAIRP Retreat)

was held on July 22, 2005 from 9:00 am until 5:30 pm in the Tilghman Auditorium / Turner Concourse at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. In addition to the talks, this year's retreat included 15 poster presentations depicting the work achieved in our ICMIC program and SAIRP program. With more than 100 participants, the retreat succeeded in providing a day of active exchange of ideas and discussions.
