MR imaging and spectroscopy in detection and localization of prostate cancer: a prospective trial in patients undergoing cystoprostatectomy and radical prostatectomy

Brief Discription and findings:
Our purpose in this project was to determine the diagnostic accuracy of magnetic resonance imaging methods in the detection of prostate cancer in patients who have no known history of prostate cancer and are scheduled to have cystoprostatectomy for bladder cancer, and patients with known, biopsy proven, prostate cancer who are scheduled for radical prostatectomy.
